“We transcend the illusions of body and mind, and the separation perpetuated by these illusions. In this dimension, we re-discover the nature of Love for the One Spirit, of which we are all a part.” Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh
The attitude of gratitude is the highest yoga.- Yogi Bhajan
FIT Yogawoodlands was born from a love of yoga and meditation and from real life experience of how these practices, when done regularly and with an open heart, can make a profound positive impact in our lives.
The mission and vision of FIT Yogawoodlands is to offer each student, whether a beginner or advanced, a place to connect body, mind, and spirit through practicing yoga, meditation and healthy life choices.
Yoga systematically stretches and strengthens muscles throughout the body, increases circulation to internal organs and glands, quiets the nervous system, and improves concentration. This ancient system of self-care brings vitality, health, deep relaxation, and peace of mind. Meditation has been shown to reduce stress, reduce blood pressure, and generally improve the sense of well being.
“Be at least as interested in what goes on inside you as what happens outside. If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place.” – Eckhart Tolle
