FIT Yogawoodlands was born from a love of yoga and meditation and from real life experience of how these practices, when done regularly and with an open heart, can make a profound positive impact in our lives.
The mission and vision of FIT Yogawoodlands is to give each student, whether a beginner or advanced, a place to practice yoga and to connect body, mind, and spirit. Yoga systematically stretches and strengthens muscles throughout the body, increases circulation to internal organs and glands, quiets the nervous system, and improves concentration. This ancient system of self-care brings vitality, health, deep relaxation, and peace of mind.

Sharon Geib, along with her husband, Bob Geib, founded FIT Woodlands in 2010 and YogaWoodlands in 2013. Sharon is a certified Yoga Alliance teacher, registered with the national Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level. She received her Yoga Teacher Training under Jonny Kest, through the Life Power Yoga Program, in addition, Sharon is a certified Rainbow Kids Yoga teacher. She has a Certificate in Meditation from the University of Houston/Allegra Learning, and has completed the Vipassana Ten Day Meditation program as taught by S.N. Goenka. She is also a certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Sharon has been a yoga practitioner since 2001 and a meditator since 2010, and spent the first six months of 2013 working with her life coach and mentor, David Romanelli.
